It's finally here, another year, another dawn. Here's to 2023, HAPPY NEW YEAR! Before we say goodbye, I want to reflect and contemplate the beauty of the year. Through the trails and tribulations, there are always diamonds to be found. I present to you: 3 Things 2022 Has Taught me
"Life isn't about the outside events that make or break a day, month, or year. How you feel on the inside defines your life- Either chaos or Love." -Makilda Addico
At the start of 2022, I asked myself questions followed by answers that encompassed my goals and desired mentality for the year. Then, I scripted my manifestations through statements of assurance and guidance. By casting my dreams away with love, they bound to me, and as the year progressed, I realized the familiarity of my reality- My life is everything I've ever wanted.
This year, we have seen so much. Yet, when I look back, I am accepting of it all. No regrets, no sorrows, just peace of mind that I am here now. As I feel this way, I know that I am present, and for which I am thankful. Being present is a significant achievement I always consider as the year closes. If I start feeling like I could have done more or a situation should have played out differently, that is my indication to stay in The Now. The only thing I can do is recognize it, forgive myself, and be better now.
I want to share the three things I projected for this year and how they have helped make it what it has been.
3 Things 2022 Has Taught Me
Serendipity
The quote, "Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve," by Napoleon Hill, precisely sums up this word. Serendipity is the occurrence of remarkable things happening unexpectedly. Some refer to them as accidents or coincidences though such things do not exist. Everything is meant to be and happens for a reason.
Expecting the unexpected is another way to manifest all that you want. The Universe cannot help but respond to your energy and beliefs when you have unwavering faith. This year, I wholeheartedly started believing in myself and dissolving my limiting views. By keeping myself open and knowing I had already won, I responded with gratitude instead of disbelief or doubt when good things happened. I noticed my life changing when it felt like the Universe was working with me every day. From always getting to places on time, engaging in meaningful interactions, and having access to anything I needed, all signs pointed to me being aligned with the highest good.
Good fortune is a mindset that I will continually tune into this year. There are so many magical and serendipitous moments awaiting those who believe anything can happen.
Confidence
I have always regarded myself as a confident person. Yes, I can speak well with others and stand up for myself, but this year, I discovered different depths of confidence. Its meaning has changed so much for me, which is why I want to address how else it can be utilized. The word that comes to mind is poise. How one carries themselves through all situations is a significant quality of confidence. For instance, having emotional maturity means that the ego does not impact decision-making. Therefore, you do not act irrationally, negatively, or in haste. Moreover, no one can dictate your mood, and you are conscious of your mental verbiage and interactions. When poised, your thoughts support a greater purpose, and selflessly act accordingly. I keep this notion in the forefront of my mind as it enables me to be ready for anything and provide a better service to the world.
Imagination
I have spoken on the importance of imagination in this post; however, this year, I navigated how to use my imagination more effectively for manifestation. The mind is so powerful that the possibilities are endless when used intentionally.
Through visualization, I have co-created with the Universe and brought my dreams to life. First, I ask myself what I want to be and what I need to believe to make it happen. By doing this, I set clear intentions for what I seek and can focus my visualization this way. There are no limits when you visualize- you are boundless, so do not hold back. Once I set an intention for what I want, I go deeper into the visualization with thoughts and imagery that correlate and feed my soul. The most important aspect of visualization is to imagine everything happening now. The Now is our only guarantee, so acting as though everything you want is already before you is your greatest benefit. The more you believe in what you want and fill yourself with the emotions that pair, you will receive just that! When you think thoughts of "When XYZ happens, I will be happy" or "I'm waiting to have this," you will attract more delays and periods of waiting. The imagination is often used for things we don't want; turn that around, and the world is yours.
"The world of reality has its limits; the world of imagination is boundless." -J. Rousseau
In closing:
Whatever it is you seek or set out to do this year, I believe in you. You are expansive and deserve the life of your dreams.
Here is to the BEST that 2023 has to offer and May we bask in the glory and laugh on the journey!
